TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Want to do a lot for the environment, yet save costs without sacrificing convenience and design? The passive house makes it possible: with KÖMMERLING 76. When fitted with the upgrade technology proEnergyTec, the modern window system exhibits a thermal insulation value Uf of 0.17 BTU/(hr 0F ft2) or 0.95 W/(m²K), fulfilling the high energy saving requirements for passive houses. With 44 mm thermal insulation glazing and TGI spacer – Ug = 0.11 BTU/(hr 0F ft2) or 0.6 W/(m²K) – the Uw value is 0.14 BTU/(hr 0F ftor0.80 W/(m²K).

The reinforcing chamber in the frame is foam-filled with proEnergyTec. Loads from heavy glazing weights are transferred reliably to the central steel reinforcement.  This technology achieves the highest thermal insulation values and can be recycled easily at a later date.

The values are so good that KÖMMERLING 76 with proEnergyTec is passive house compatible as defined under the ift guideline WA 15/2.

On the outside, the aluminium cladding offers almost limitless possibilities in colour design, whilst on the inside PVC-U profiles ensure low maintenance, high dimensional stability, and reliable functionality.

The residential door system KÖMMERLING 76 embodies all the requirements needed for high quality, inward opening residential door systems. The high-insulation five-chamber system provides the optimal protection against heat and cold. KÖMMERLING 76 residential doors also exhibit a high base stability. The large steel reinforcements form a solid, closed frame.

The sash corners are reinforced with welded corner connectors forming a nonpositive connection with the steel reinforcement. These absorb bending and torsional forces, e.g. from jemmying attempts, and deflect them through the entire surrounding steel frame. Special hardware enhances security to an even higher level.

The special clip-on technology ensures a stress-free connection between the PVC-U and aluminium materials. Possible are single- and multi-sash inward opening residential doors with top light or side frames. Residential doors can be fitted just as you wish with Georgian bars, conventional functional or ornamental glazing, or prefabricated panels.

When running in its track, instead of swerving to the inside, the sash remains tight and safe, yet still offers a lot of space for modern design concepts and individual indoor comfort. This sliding system is ideal for sliding windows, sliding doors, and side entrance doors, opening up a whole new world of possibilities. 

PremiSlide 76 exhibits excellent engineering properties, e.g. 158 mm entire installation depth, 76 mm installation depth of the sliding sash, five chamber structure of its PVC-U profiles, a peripheral sealing system, and a facility for triple glazing or ultra modern functional glazing up to 50 mm thick. With respect to thermal insulation, PremiSlide 76 makes a lasting impression. With a maximum Uf value of 1.4 W/(m²K) as standard and a maximum Uw value of 0.70 W/(m²K), this sliding system achieves the best energy saving value in its product class. The slender profile sight lines provide the optimal space for the greatest possible passage of light and hence greater solar energy gains. The result is additional reductions to heating costs.
